Chinese Sparerib Marinade

Comments: Serve with hot mustard sauce or duck sauce.
6 | Tbs. | soy sauce |
4 | Tbs. | hoisin sauce |
3 | Tbs. | sherry |
2 | Tbs. | brown sugar |
2 | Tbs. | ketchup |
3 | cloves | garlic, chopped |
1 | Tbs. | honey |
- Mix the marinade and pour marinade over ribs and refrigerate at least half an hour, preferably
overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and place the ribs on a rack in a shallow roasting pan
with 1 cup of water in the bottom to keep ribs from drying out. Reserve the
leftover marinade.
- Bring leftover marinade to a boil and add 1 Tbs. honey. Use this mixture to
baste the ribs
- Bake 1 hour, basting every 15 minutes. Bake at 450 degrees F. 10-15 minutes longer.
